had to give this game only one star. when i first started the game i thought it was a good game seemed to be alot of fun. but after about 6 months of playing it and studying the system i have realized that this game is totally rigged especially the battlez strategy. EA has it rigged to pick losers and winners and to manipulate you to spend your gems as well as your money. in battlez your not playing against another apponent, your playing the ea computer which decides when you win and when u lose
Um, hi. i would like to tell you that ive played pvz 2 in the past and it was fun. but now after 1-2 years later i try to redownload now it and it worked. but when i reach the loading screen, it loads up normally and the walnuts pop up and it says Tell us your age. but when i try to do anything, nothing happens and its like it freezes. I would like some help for this if you could offer some. thanks.
Everytime i go to play the game it exits out . Its been doing this all day. Ive spent alot of money on this game & for what? For the game to just exit out none of my other games are giving me problems. Not only those things in addition My gaunlets and gema are missing . No one has adressed this issue
This game has a lot more content than plants vs zombies 1 with a fun dynamic of time travel. it also has the option to revisit levels. it can get grindy and often offers remedies to this that require actual cash, but if you were to do that, the final stuff would be much less satisfying. it does have adds, but the game is not too pushy about them and there will generally be a way to close them after 5 or so seconds.
Would've rated 5 stars if the new update didnt ruin half the game itself. Just read other reviews and you'll see what I mean. Edit: lost my progress from before the god awful update. 2nd edit: got over my small tantrum and decided to play the game again.
I used to play this game a couple years ago, before it was drowned by ads that cannot be removed with the option of purchasing the game and before you weren't allowed to obtain some of the classic plants like the torchwood that now it's $4,99 after you've obtained 10 seeds. This game has turned in just a cashing machine for them so I'm uninstalling the game right now. It was fun while it lasted. Find better ways to make money, thanks.
Piñatas Are Unfair!! I play the Battlez and win piñatas, only to have ALL of them be for premium plants that I do not own. That is unfair, and will NOT force me to buy them. Please balance them. Or make more events for Non-premium plants!!
Game play is decent. Trouble with Battlez has been growing. Every update brings new issues and EA does not respond or resolve. Seems you have to wait til the disaster-date. Sometimes ads load, I watch them, but get no coins for the effort. I really like the game, but the hassles are adding up.
This game used to be fun before they pushed in game purchases and ads down the throat of it's users. They changed the gem earning opportunities and I'm sure that the inability to share a profile over further enforces their greed for money and lack of proper gem distribution. You, EA, are a disgrace to all that is gaming. Edit: EA finished killing the game with countless ads and now it force closes all the time. Good job EA 👍
the lastes update has the game shutting down every time i try to play the pinata party. i try to use the help to complain but it wants a user id, that is long and wont let me copy and paste. this is the first time i have been sooo dissapointed by this game

EA is a terrible money grubbing company but this game manages to be fun to play without spending any money. Battlez option is dumb and not worth the effort. I would have much preferred new levels or new worlds over the time the developers spent on Battlez.
fantastic game. you can purchase things if you want but it's really not necessary which i really like. battle other players, daily rewards and achievements for diamonds and mints you use to get new plants. get new plants by completing adventure mode as well. great sequel to the original
From purchases not being restored, to updates not working...There is always something going on with this game! The developvers never ever respond, but this games has always been fun even with the bugs, I continue to play for that reason. But don't get me wrong, this stuff needs to BE FIXED!!!!!
I was trying to restore my purchases but it never loaded and restored them. Also, some time AGO I had an issue were I bought some coins.It think it was the 2nd cheapest one. I bought it and it NEVER came to my account I do NOT recommend this from my experience. But, I will give it 3 stars because it was an enjoyable game
It is in most respects a good game, aside from some annoying levels and limitations caused by the freemium aspect. I would reccomend it, I like it more than the first! However I have it crash from time to time and find it especially annoying when it crashing during a battlez match or pinana party and count it as a loss and I have a pruchase thing keep coming up saying 'restore purchases' that will not go away
love this game! I bought ghost pepper and everytime I click on adventure it says restore purchases, then 0 restored cause I already have it, it just keeps telling me. not sure why, but love the game. update: game keeps crashing as soon as I open it. I'm not sure why but very sad
Here are some neat plant ideas. Corn Sprout fires corn. It fires more over time.The next plant is Wood Wind. Wood Wind blows zombies back also may cause them to turn into ash. Another plant is Root Beard which makes zombies age and slowly die. The last plant is Tumble weed. Ot tramples over zombies in a lane.
this update forces u to watch stupid long ads with no more option to skip. i hate matchington mansion n wordscapes and will never ever download either one.. ever... because of their annoying ads.
I have been playing this game since it first came out, and I've really enjoyed it. but there's this one that me, and maybe a few other are a bit puzzled about. why were the mini game themes removed? they were some of my favorites (and some of the other players) music tracks. the game is still really fun, but could you at least bring the mini game themes back please. thx :) ~zergspider
i think it takes too long to recharge the free gems option because i love playing battle mode but i keep running out of gems to play. all of a sudden my mode stopped where i would get to use a premium plant. that would come on once a day and i really looked forward to that but it just stopped and i still look for it everyday in the log but its never there anymore that sucks because I really liked that alot!
