Each volume individually and as a set lives up to the title; Santo & Johnny's 'Sleepwalk,' Bill Justis' 'Raunchy,' the Champs' 'Tequila,' and Link Wray's 'Rumble' are just a few of the standout tracks from the first disc, which chronicles the rise of instrumental rock in the '50s.
